        HI Hamilton,

The Bengali keys are excellent in their quality and function. I have three sets of their paddle here. You’re welcome to come over sometime and try them out if you’d like.

            Hi Brian,

We can help you with this after our meeting tomorrow. It may be that the connectors that you have are not correct as well. Please bring your tools, connectors and a piece of coax with one of the connectors attached which did not work out along this evening and we’ll see if we can help you to figure out what went wrong. If you bring the run of coax that you want to install connectors on, we can take care of the installation after the meeting.

Looks like our activation of Katahdin Woods made the ARRL Newsletter! Check out the NPOTA update article here.

Jamey Finchum, KC1ENX joined us yesterday for another activation of Acadia National Park. Despite difficult band conditions, we were able to make almost 350 additional contacts in the park yesterday. Most were made with our club call sign, N1FD giving our club credit for activating another park.

I agree with most everything that’s been said so far. The only exception is adding the position one holds in the club. The problem there is that when the person leaves that position they have to buy a new badge.

Thanks everyone for the comments. We a pair of these badges with the magnets and they work great. The attachments (magnets or pin) are near the top of the badges. We have the version with the magnet and they hold very well. We’ll proceed with a version with a white background.

                    Thanks again and 73,

                      Hi Hamilton,

I know of two ways to do this. First, the DXLab Logging Suite has a direct interface to the DX Atlas mapping program and to Google Earth. The later can be used to make some really cool videos. Check this one out.

There are also websites that will do what you want based upon and upload adif file. Try Google’ing “Display QSOs on map”. This one looks interesting.

I like the DXLab approach the best. We use it for all sorts of things here.

                      Have fun!

                      73,

                      Keymaster

Updated our N1FD logs today from LoTW. We received 11 new state confirmations in the RTTY mode, one new DXCC confirmation, and a new zone confirmation (Zone 33). These new QSLs were all a result of the great work in the ARRL Rookie Roundup my Abby and Jamey this weekend.

At this point, N1FD just needs to work 11 more states in digital modes to earn our ARRL Worked All States Triple Play Award (all 50 states confirmed in SSB, CW and Digital modes).

The states which we still need in RTTY or some other digital mode are – DE, HI, IA, LA, ME, ND, RI, UT, and WY. We also need to confirm 9 others which we have worked.

All club members whose QTH is in NH can help us with this by using the N1FD callsign if you work one of these states using a digital mode. For the confirmation to be counted, you would need to send me an .adi file with the details of the contact via email. I will then upload the contact as N1FD to LoTW and we’ll try to confirm.

Congratulations and thanks to Abby and Jamey for helping us take a big step closer to our WAS Triple Play!

                        73,
