Hello Aron,

Thanks for the link. Reminds me of interfacing the 7400 series with 8085 processor many years back.

Really good link for searching compatible parts.

Thank you.

Thank you to everyone that graciously donated a fan or a light and to those that are lending some for the weekend. We appreciate your contribution. It was down to the wire, but closed the gap at the Field Day planning meeting late last week. So long as everyone that has committed to bring a fan/light arrives by Friday midday, we’re good-to-go! Thank you again.

To those that bought a fan from the NARS Amazon Smile “wedding list” (i.e., https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014CLAL8S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1&pldnSite=1), please note these fans have rechargeable batteries in addition to A/C power. The batteries will need to be charged in advanced. Please charge the batteries before you bring them Field Day.

I look forward to seeing everyone at Field Day!

I attempted to order a fan, but the delivery date was after Field Day.  I have a few fans I can loan to the cause that I will bring with me to setup.

Congratulations! Spectacular footage of the burst. Great work by you and the students. Should be great fun analyzing the data and the video.

Yay!  Glad we finally caught the burst.  After other things went awry this made my day.  Thanks again to the Nashua Area Radio Society and all the Hudson Memorial and Bishop Guertin students that came out to this awesome event.

From the prediction software, it looks like it will land in Sudbury Ma, very close to our QTH in Wayland, MA

Can you confirm this ?

If so,  Alice W1ASZ and I will go down to Wayland Saturday afternoon and help with the recovery.
