A. Cases….
Trying 3 different ones on pi4. Can report the first one is definitely quiet, but some of the “guts” stick out. The 2nd one you can “hear” the fan, but not too loud. The third one I will try next… have it, but not yet done the “transplant” as I only have 2 pi4’s… I think the 3rd is similar to the one Fred points out but with a 35mm fan vs 30mm with the link he provided per the Q&A on that page. :

B. The 7100 project…
Interested in this… I have this rig and though currently focused on the McHF clone (RS918) I do “have it on the list” to build some type of gobox for the 7100. Maybe we can chat during this Sat Breakfast if you are going or at next club meetup.
Thank you very much for sharing this… even though the tendency is to “google” or “youtube” for “how to” questions… I found it very useful as it is sometimes hard to find this level of detail.
Had “issues” with my HT’s programming…. could hear but folks could not hear me when I checked in. By the time I figured things out (was using a channel on the radio that had same freq but not the right programming for repeater…) the net was winding down…
What are the rules for checkin in at the end when everyone has answered “the question”? I thought in the past there was “one more chance” for people with “issues” 🙂
Also, is there a “checkins” for the 10m net? Was able to make that one (barely, thanks Mike 🙂 )
