Correction on the date! January 19th, not December 19th…
Wayne,
This is very cool! I have been looking at your videos and pictures on facebook and am very impressed! You will need to give a talk during on of the tech nights on this.
Thanks for sharing.

Ari,
Congratulations on finding both foxes today! I am impressed that you found it with just a regular antenna!
Great to see you and your wife!

Awesome! I hope you enjoyed some holiday candy as well!
The fox will probably be out tomorrow – in a new location – and there may be more than one!
Congratulations on the find!
Oh, no! I tried not to make it too hard. It is on a side trail and not on the main path. It’s also in one of the higher locations in the park so you get a pretty good signal from a pretty wide area.
Let me know if you want any hints. I’ll probably run out tomorrow in the late morning and put in some fresh batteries if anyone is interested in hunting tomorrow.
Due to the outlook for the weather we will postpone the SOTA/POTA activation of Mount Pack Monadnock until Sunday, August 5th. Same time, same plan just on Sunday instead of Saturday!
This has taught me a very valuable lesson! Always submit your logs. I have worked many stations in contests and have not submitted logs thinking it was not worth it. Had someone made 10 QSO’s in the NHQP and submitted their log they would have won their category – unless they were doing multi-op at high power, then they would have needed a few more QSOs!
I had a lot of fun working this contest with Fred despite the lack of competition.
Curtis,
I was on my ICOM 7100 at 100 watts running through my Little TarHeel II antenna. I really enjoy that antenna. It gets 6 – 80 m and I’m still always amazed, even in this poor solar cycle, of the DX that I can get.
Very cool, Patrick! Just saw this on facebook this morning as well. Nice story.
Hi Anita,
I have a book that I can donate.
Thank you,
Jamey
