Contesting is a great way to have fun on the air, work DX, States, or other things towards operating awards, and improve your station and your operating skills. A basic 100w station and a wire antenna are all that you need to get started and have some great fun in contests!

Join Anita, AB1QB and Fred, AB1OC for a Tech Night about How to Get Started in Contesting. We’ll take you through everything you need to know to get started – from putting together a station to how to operate in a contest. We’ll also share some really fun things that you can do in contests and we’ll cover VHF contesting, Roving, and Mobile HF contesting.

There will also be a special invitation to operate with us in a major Worldwide DX contest for those who attend.

We will be meeting tonight, January 14th at 7 pm in Nauss Hall at the First Church in Nashua, NH. Don’t miss it!

The presentation that we’ll be sharing is posted on our Tech Night page (in the 2020 Presentation Archive towards the bottom of the page – don’t forget to log in to n1fd.org first) if you’d like to print or download a copy to your tablet or laptop to bring along.

      See you at Tech Night!
