I received the following email and wanted to share with the club. I am hoping to attend this class. Here is a link to the SKYWARN website if you want more information on what the SKYWARN program is all about:

“The Manchester Health Department is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a National Weather Service SKYWARN Spotter Training on Thursday, May 17, 2018, from 6:30 pm-9:00 pm at our office located at 1528 Elm Street, Manchester, NH. The entrance is located at the rear of the building and parking is available in the rear parking lot and alongside the building. This training is made possible thanks to our friends at the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Gray, Maine. There is no fee for this training and pre-registration is not required.”
