Call for Articles
We are planning to publish our November newsletter next week and we’d really like to have your article! Maybe you’ve built something new recently, had an interesting experience, learned a new operating or technical skill, saw something interesting on the Internet, out up a new antenna or improved your station, did something interesting during an Amateur Radio activity that you can share, worked an interesting station, DXpedition or event, …
All of these topics and many others make interesting articles for others to read about. Articles do not need to be very long either. A picture or two and a few paragraphs is all that you need.
We are especially interested in reading about our members’ backgrounds and interests. This is particularly true for members who are running for 2018 Executive Committee positions. Take a minute and write your Member Spotlight today. Here are some good examples of member spotlights to help you to get started –
- Frank, N1DGQ
- Brian, AB1ZO
- Anita, AB1QB
- Fred, AB1OC
- Abby, AB1BY
- Desmond, WK1V
- Matt, N1ZGN
- Rick, K8EZB
- Scott, NE1RD
- Jamey, KCIENX
When you write an article on our Blog, it reaches many more Amateurs beyond the folks who are members of NARS/ Our website makes it simple and speedy to write an article.
Several of our articles have been featured as front page news on sites like QRZcom.
It is really easy to create an article on our blog. All you need is a web browser and an idea! Here’s a post which explains how to do it. If you’d like some help, just send me an email and I will find some time to help you to create your article right here on our website.
We hope that you can find a little time to create an article for our November newsletter. Happy Thanksgiving!
