All,
NO Morse Code Training on Sept 10th
Many of our group will be attending the ARRL Boxboro hamfest which runs Sept 9, 10 and 11.
At least two from our class are volunteering their help at the event and Fred Kemmerer AB1OC will presenting.
=======
Everyone should have a copy of the CD and ideally a good MP3 player to listen to it with.
Homework was listed last week on the Club website under the CW and QRP forum.
I also posted some help with G4FON setup and added a small collection of PROSIGN practice files.
Practice the number exercises and the PROSIGNS…
Feeling comfortable with what you know and increasing proficiency takes time and several ON THE AIR QSOs.
Keep your QSO speed SLOW- this should make it easier for you to RECEIVE successfully.
When you send, send important things like your NAME twice so that the other station can copy them correctly.
Use their NAME in your replys… example: TNX BILL ur RST 599.
A QSO with another classmate is ok, but having a QSO with someone outside of the class members is better.
Keep up the good work.
