I am getting back on air after 50 year lapse. Trying to do codeplug for my Anytone HT. When I upload to radio, some channels are OK and others are skipped. So far only trying FM analog, not DMR. Used both Anytone software and RT Systems software with same result. Can anyone help? Thanks.
Hi, Varel.
When you say, “skipped”, what do you mean?
Do you mean when scanning, some frequencies are skipped, or do you mean when programming, some frequencies are not programmed into the radio, or something else?
Ted, The code plug spreadsheet will show a list of channels that are programmed—in my case chans 1, 3-10. The radio, after download from the programming software, will show fewer channels as programmed…channels 4, 9, 10 are blank. In this case all are FM analog channels–I haven’t graduated to digital yet. Behaviour is the same with both code plug softwares. I have done a reset to factory default, download the basic code plug from the radio into the software, entered new channel info and uploaded to radio with the same results. Any insight is appreciated!

Hi, Varel.
Thanks for the explanation. Would you mind if I took a look at your code plug? You can attach it here, or email it to me [email protected] .
Attached. Will also email. Much appreciated for the help.
Hmm..it would not let me upload the AnyTone software code plug. Trying the RT Systems plug.
Ted–couldn’t upload here. I have emailed you both plugs–AnyTone software and the RT Systems plug. Thanks, Varel
I’m hoping that the solution we discussed via email worked for you!
Please check out this list of DMR nets: DMR Nets – NEDECN
It’s a great idea to check-in to the Monday night New England DMR net. It’s a great way ind out what’s going on and confirm your radio is programmed correctly at the same time.
Hats off to Ted for solving the mystery! The assistance is much appreciated.
