Picnic & POTA at Silver Lake State Park — August 1st
The Nashua Area Radio Society is planning our next in-person event, and we hope you’ll join us for a fun summer day of food, friendship, and radio!
On Saturday, August 1st, NARS members and families will gather at Silver Lake State Park in Hollis, NH for a club Picnic and Parks on the Air activation. We will start at 10:00 AM.
This will be a relaxed social event and a great opportunity to spend time together outdoors, enjoy a picnic, and get on the air from a beautiful park location.
Bring Your POTA Gear
Some of us will bring our POTA gear to the event so that members who do not have portable gear can make contacts from the park. Members who have their own portable radio gear are also encouraged to bring it along.
This is a great chance to compare setups, try different antennas, share ideas, and learn from each other. Whether you are an experienced activator or just getting started with portable operating, there will be plenty of opportunities to participate.
Join Us for the Picnic
Bring your family, a chair, and your favorite picnic food or dish to share. We’ll enjoy good food, good company, and time on the air together. Rumor has it some foxes will be in the park.
