The High Altitude Balloon (HAB) project team met tonight and we are go for launching our HAB this Saturday. We are planning to launch the balloon from Winchester, NH. Final preparations will begin at the launch site at about 9:45 am with a projected launch time of 10:15 am. We expect the balloon’s flight to last about 2 1/2 hours with a landing site south of Worcester, MA. We will post more details here as we get closer to Saturday. See the article here on our blog for information on how to track our HAB during its flight.

Thanks Dave. We have recovered the HAB and its on its way back to NH from RI. We are going to have some amazing video, photos and data to share once we have some time to analyze everything. This has been a pretty amazing project!
