The Nashua Area Radio Society is holding Field Day at Hudson Memorial again this year, and our event is open to the public. We will be operating from 2 pm on Saturday to 2 pm on Sunday. The best times for visitors would be on Saturday between 2 pm and about 6 pm or on Sunday from 9 am to about 2 pm.
We will have a station and mentors available for anyone to use to experience amateur radio (no license required) and to get on the air. Coaches will be available to explain things and help folks of all ages to get on the air and talk with amateur radio operators across the country as part of the Field Day operation going on this weekend.
Field Day Get On The Air Station
We will also have a satellite ground station in operation, enabling communications with satellites and the International Space Station.

Other activities include fox hunting (geocaching using amateur radio – no license required), radio-linked wireless camera systems, fiber-optic networking, IP wireless data networks, and more.

Lots of fun things to see, play with, and learn about. We’d enjoy having you join us for Field Day!
