We’re almost there folks. We just barely made a quorum at the September meeting. Fortunately, a thirty-seventh member showed up part way into the presentation. But that was not without cajoling.
As published in the minutes, a proposed change has been submitted in writing and all members have been notified by mail of the intent to modify the constitution.
This is a fairly critical change and it needs to be made quickly. The preliminary budget is presented in October and November, and club elections and budget approval take place in December. Without a budget for 2000, there will be no newsletters, no Field Day expenditures, not much of anything.
So please make an effort to show up at the October meetings and support the constitutional amendment.
