The Secretary's ReportMinutes from the June 1st ExecutiveBoard meeting and the June 7th Club Meeting

President Mike Graham, K7CTW, called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM at which time he called for the acceptance of the prior Board and Meeting minutes as published in the prior newsletter. On a motion made by Ed, K2TE and seconded by Tracy, N1WIR the minutes were accepted as published.
Membership coordinator, Tracy, N1WIR, reported that the current membership stood at 174 members in good standing.
Under training, Ed, K2TE, reported that he has not heard much from Steve regarding the Sanders class. Apparently attendance and interest are falling off. Ed will try to contact Steve to obtain more information.
Treasurer, Mark, N1ZYZ, was not in attendance, but reported via Email that the current balance was in excess of $2900.00, and that a full report would be made at the following club meeting.
Under programs, Mike Graham, K7CTW reported that the June meeting topic would be “Field Day” presented by Jim Heedles, WW1Y. Colleen, N1HAJ will do a short presentation in July on the QSL Bureau, and sorting QSL cards.
For Old Business, it was noted that Ed, K2TE is the NH QSO Party chairperson.
On the topic of New Business, Ed, and Mike attended the NHARA meeting and reported that former NH Section Manager, Al Shuman, N1FIK, is the new President of that organization. Also under New Business was the matter of the $15.00 membership fee for the NHARA. It was decided to bring it up for a vote the next club meeting.
Next under New Business, the club has been contacted by Larry, K1HEJ, about the possibility of the participating in the “Big- E” show in Connecticut in September. It would involve a few people manning a small booth for a day during the show. This topic will be brought up for discussion at the following club meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 7:28PM, on a motion by Chris, K1SI, seconded by Ed, K2TE.
Program chairman Gary, W1GRY introduced Jim, WW1Y, for the nights presentation on “Field Day”.
The Secretary’s report was accepted as published in the prior newsletter, on a motion made by MaryJane, WA4WIJ, and seconded by Pauline, KA1LDF.
Treasurer Mark, N1ZYZ, reported the club account balance was $2928.44, and that report was accepted on a motion made by Chris, K1SI and seconded by Jim, WW1Y.
Membership coordinator, Tracy, N1WIR reported current membership was 175.
Gary, W1GRY, Programs director, announced the July topic will be on the QSL Bureau, presented by Colleen, N1HAJ.
There was no report on Training.
Under Old Business, it was noted that T- Shirts were still available. Also noted was the matter of the upcoming Boy Scout Jamboree at Gunstock. Don, N1UBD, is handling the radio demonstration, and would like volunteers to assist. Contact Don at n1ubd@juno.com for more information.
Under New Business, the club has been contacted by Larry, K1HEJ, about possibly manning a booth for a day at the “Big-E” show in Connecticut. It would require 4 or so people. Volunteers included Mike, K7CTW, Debby, KB1CKQ/AE, Frank, N1DGQ, Jim, WW1Y, and Darryl. Contact Mike Graham, K7CTW for more info. Also under New Business, Mike, K7CTW, noted that the NHARA is trying to get back on its feet again and that Al Shuman, N1FIK, is the new President.
