The secretary’s report was read, and amended. On a motion by Ed, K2TE, seconded by Brooks, KC1PD, the report was accepted as amended.
There was no treasurer’s report in the absence of the treasurer.
Ed, K2TE, membership coordinator, reported there were 143 records and 128 members.
Brooks, KC1PD, activities coordinator, reported the cost of the new FD T-shirts would be $476 plus $20 shipping. They will not be available at the club Christmas party.
President of vice, Bob, KD1AW, reported the license class was nearly completed, with the last class scheduled for Dec. 3 and the exam at the Dec. 13 VE session.
Programs coordinator, Jack, WB4MDC, reported the program for December would be awards and elections. January will be “Project Night” while February will feature Near-Field recording.
Don, KA1GOZ, Emergency Coordinator for Eastern Hillsborough County, reported he has restarted the Nashua Area Emergency Net, moving it to Tuesday evenings at 8 p.m., on 147.045+/224.28-, prior to the Western Hillsborough net on 146.73- at 8:30 PM.
On the issue of the storage trailer president John, WS1E, directed Don, KA1GOZ, to provide the tax information to UPS and arrange for a storage location with the Nashua Emergency Preparedness director. Relative to the Field Day site for 1998, it appears there has been no change and the Hollis location will again be the site.
No action was taken on GOTAP.
The auction of the Palomar noise bridge and the Vibroplex “bug” scheduled to be concluded at the December club meeting was extended to the January club meeting. In new business, the annual donation to the Nashua Public Library was discussed and on a motion by Jack, WB4MDC, seconded by Ed, K2TE, the 1995-1996 issues of QST on CD-ROM will be donated to the library.
