A weekly CW practice session is being held Wednesday nights at 8 PM, on the Nashua 147.045+/224.28- repeater. The sessions will be similar to that of the ARRL code broadcasts. There will be random code at the start, with text of a selected NARC bulletin to follow. I’m not sure whether I’ll run multiple code speeds. Listen in and give me your inputs on code speeds, format, etc. If you have any other ideas let me know. The session will be run like a net, taking check-ins at the start. This will be one-way practice via Modulated CW, there will be no CW sent back to me.
I’m looking forward to putting something back into the local ham community. I would not be licensed today without the help from local “Elmers” like Dot, KA1LDS, and Bill, WB1BRE, Burden, and would not have ever gotten my Extra without the weekly study sessions with Jack Warren, WB4MDC.
