July 1st Club He came back for the July meeting of the Nashua Area Radio Club, however.
Since no one brought any Classie Junque to the meeting, needless to say, there was no Classie Junque drawing.
Following introductions, Jack, WB4MDC, presented hints and kinks from the workbench/ammo box.
At the conclusion of the presentation president John called the business meeting to order.
In the absence of the Field Day Incident Commander, “Big Al” Simons, Fletch, N1MEO, FDIC-designate, gave a brief outline of the expected Field Day score for 1996. The raw score was 21754, 102 points higher than 1995.
The club’s FD operators broke eight club records for Field Day: 40 CW, 20 CW, 6 CW, 20 Phone and the Novice station had 364 contacts. A wrap-up meeting is scheduled for July 9 at “Big Al’s” home.
President John asked for the reading of the minutes of the May Bored of Directors’ meeting and the June club meeting by secretary, Don, KA1GOZ.
Rex, K1HI, moved, and Don, KA1T, seconded a motion to accept the reports as read. The motion carried.
Treasurer George, WA1DEI, gave the treasurer’s report, which showed a balance of $1,150.83. He reported income from club dues was above what had been budgeted.
Joel, KD1ON, and Jim, WW1Y, moved and seconded respectively acceptance of the treasurer’s report at read. The motion carried.
Henry, K1CII, membership coordinator, reported there were two new members added to the rolls and one renewal.
Joel, KD1ON, programs coordinator, referred to the June club meeting minutes as the latest information on upcoming programs.
Fletch, N1MEO, president of vice, and training coordinator, reported the CW training net was back on the air on Wednesday evenings on 28.4 MHz at 2000 hrs. (that’s 8 p.m. for those with 12-hour clocks).
Frank, N1DGQ, noted that the New England Division director of vice, Warren, WB1HBB, was leaving the area for Florida.
On a motion by Don, KA1GOZ, seconded by Frank, N1DGQ, the meeting was adjourned
