Who We Are

We are the Nashua Area Radio Society and the creation of content and comments on our website requires membership in our organization, an Internet Subscription, or a Club License which includes user login and password-controlled access to our website. Our website address is https://www.n1fd.org.

Consent To Use Your Data and Release From Liability

If you use our website as a visitor or join the Nashua Area Radio Society and use our website as a Member, Internet Subscriber, or by purchasing a Club License, you are voluntarily accepting our privacy policy as written here and granting us rights to use the information and content that you provide as defined here. You also agree to release the Nashua Area Radio Society and its Officers, Executive Committee and Members from any liability for a data breach or other liability for any damages related to your participation in, use of, and/or contribution to our website.

Information Entered In Contact, Registration, and Other Forms

Non-members, members, subscribers, and club licensees may register for membership, license classes, ask questions and provide other data via forms on our website. Users of such forms voluntarily consent to share the data that they enter with us for the purposes of registration or contact as outlined in the form which they complete.

For users that register as members, subscribers, or club license holders on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Comments

When visitors, members, subscribers, and club licensees leave comments on our website, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Media

If you upload images to our website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract such location data from images on our website.
