Just a note several years later. AO-109 either just did or is about to re-enter and burn up. Of course you can still use FT4 on other linear satellites (the ‘standard’ is at the low end of the passband; same with CW).
Hmm. Previous post suddenly disappeared while I was typing. I’ll be helping staff the AMSAT booth so I can’t help with NARS. I’m also speaking at the same time as Fred so you have to choose 🙂 ) See you all down there!

Was it Deena by any chance who got to talk to (or at least hear) an astronaut on the space station with Bob Hayes at Ham EXposition last year? She was so excited!
I’m so sorry to hear that, Len. I not able to make many club meetings to have seen her recently, but I think was likely a VE during her Tech class/test.
Thinking of you…

Thanks Jonathan! I actually used it a couple days ago and can confirm that it appeared to be fine.
Hancock NH? I did not know about that!
Also watching (I have never had nearby trees–great for satellites, but not for HF without a tower!)
Does anyone have suggestions for making QSL cards? I don’t use that many so something I could print would be ideal. I’ve seen and played with on-line card makers–some are ok, some are pretty crappy. But I’d like to hear what you all use, and what you print them on.
(I’m not so interested in commercial printing)
Yes, and some use eQSL or other services, and some use only paper. Some will initiate sending a QSL card, some will only respond if you initiate it with a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope).
You aren’t by any chance using “Virtual Audio Cable” or something like that in your setup? I know that particular one has some sort of voice speaking over the audio until you pay for it. I guess this counts as “crippleware”.
I don’t think WSJT-X itself has anything like that though.
