My son and I braved the cold and operated outside on auxiliary power. We took turns operating a single station, using our own call signs and logged contacts jointly in N1MM. We made unique contacts, never working a station the other one contacted.
What is the proper way to submit this?
- MultiOP?
- This usually uses only one station call sign. We used two. If we don’t submit both calls, some QSOs wont get confirmed.
- ARRL contest rules show exception for family stations
- 3.5.A transmitter used to contact one or more stations may not be subsequently used under any other call during the contest period, except for family stations where more than one call has been issued, and then only if the second call sign is used by a different operator. (The intent of this rule is to accommodate family members who must share a rig and to prohibit manufactured or artificial contacts.)
- Two separate submissions from a family station?
- can we both get the 3000 bonus points for being outside on aux power?
Advice appreciated

Hi Craig,
Keith and I would like to participate as well. Not sure of our setup yet. Please include me in any planning for this.
