      Yes on the extra slack, pluis I screwed in large marine cleats to each tree at shoulder height to pull the dipole tight but leaving a ton of slack to lower it to where the insulator connects to the antenna.

        10m is my area of interest. I’m going to be remoting a Flex 6300 from a high hill/tower within the next month or less.

          Whenever any NARS communications mentions the people who signed into a certain net, please always REPEAT the net freq, PL, mode, etc for those of us who aren’t aware. Yes it is on the web site but repeating the freqs etc in the emails prevents digging. Thanks.
