I am mostly retired and the last job I had which I still do part time was the CTO of a large HVAC company in NY, prior to that I worked as a senior engineer for a Motorola MSS for 12 years in public safety. I have been an active ham for decades on Long Island NY, Southern ME and South Texas. If it communicates with RF I am interested. I have been a ham since 1971 and have operated at one time or another from 160m to 1296MHz. I was heavily involved with the build out of the Southern New England and Eastern Long Island DMR networks. I babysit a couple repeaters in Texas for the local club and hope to perhaps put one or two on the air here. I plan to have a remote multimode station in Lyndeborough that I can operate from Texas completed this summer. I have built probably a dozen DMR repeaters and close to that EchoIRLP nodes some for me and some for others. And I have no idea how many analog repeaters I have touched. When in Texas I operate HF portable on the beach often QRP. Although I have always had an HF station I have not been super active on HF, not sure why but I am wanting to get back to it more and hope too with the summer project. I have HF in my truck as well as VHF & UHF. I would like to experiment with 10GHz but do not have any gear.
