Field Day 2018 Antennas[/caption]Have you ever made a contact through a satellite in space? Well, Field Day 2018 will be a good chance to make lots of them! We will have our portable satellite station 3.1 set up for Field Day this year. See the attached pdf for a summary of the satellite passes throughout Field Day this year. The darker the green, the better the timeslot and associated passes. The ones in blue or those with (ISS) in them may provide you with an opportunity to talk with the astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS). This is not guaranteed but the astronauts do sometimes come on for Field Day as many of them are Hams too!
If you don’t know how to operate through satellites, don’t worry. Its easy and Curtis, Burns, or I will be glad to help you make contacts during your time.
