Hello Everyone,
We are going to launch our High Altitude Balloon tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10:15am. Our HAB will be transmitting position and telemetry data on 144.390 MHz using standard APRS packet formats and the N1FD-11 call sign. You can track the HAB in flight via the following link to aprs.fi. You can see the articles here on our Blog to learn more about our HAB project and how to track the HAB while it is in flight. We filed a flight plan with the FAA this morning – we expect the HAB’s flight to last about 2 1/2 hours with a landing point somewhere north east of Worcester, MA. We expect that the Balloon will burst at an altitude above 102,000 ft. Our final projection for our HAB’s flight path follows –

We hope that you track our HAB as it flies!
