The CQ WW WPX Contest is this weekend. This is a very large contest with world wide participation so Jon Turner and I have decided that the HF nets will take the weekend off.
There will be no Early Bird or HF net that usually follows the VHF net.
The nets HF nets will be back next weekend.
P.S read the rules for the contest at this link. Running an hour or 2 (or more!) of a contest is a great way to gain ” on the air” experience, And the big guns love to get new contacts in the log particularly later in the contest when they have already had contacts with all the other big gun stations.
Give it a shot and share your experiences below in the comments or during next weeks net.
