General LiFePo4 Battery Information
Lighter than lead
LiFePO4 does not suffer “memory effect” so please keep the battery fully charged for daily use
Don’t have to worry about damaging the battery if you use it until it stops.
Cannot charge the battery below 32 degrees F
Can’t use the battery below 30 degrees F
It is possible to purchase a LiFePo4 battery with an auto heater for use in cold climates
Charging the battery requires a special charger, LiFePo4.
No issue with using the battery indoors; charge or discharge
The larger LiFePo4 batteries can come with a Bluetooth app that tells you the battery status.
You can lay the battery in any position to use it (verify with the manufacturer)
You cannot add batteries later to improve your battery capacity; it has to be done at the beginning.
Always get a single battery that meets your voltage and capacity requirements. 1 200Ah vs 2 100Ah
No maintenance required just keep it charged
Do watch for grade A+ prismatic cells. They do cell reconditioned as new

That seems a little expensive for a 20Ah lifepo4 battery. I have had my eye on this one for a while ($47):
I’ve also been using this charger for a while on my LiTime Lifepo4 batteries for my camper.:

Also, if anyone is looking for something a bit larger, I cannot recommend LiTime enough. Low temp charge protection, 200A BMS, and great customer service. I have been running two of these in my camper for a couple years now, and used the battery bank last field day to run on emergency power.
