Hello Everyone,
The video from our April Tech Night – Getting On The Air is now posted! We have also posted all of the presentations from our Tech Night sessions. You can check out all of our Tech Night Videos and Presentations on our Tech Night page.
Our next Tech Night in May will be about Surface Mount Soldering – A Hands On Tutorial and will be presented by Jeff Millar, WA1HCO. Jeff is planning this to include a hands-on experience to let us try Surface Mount Soldering and he is planning to bring quite a bit of gear for the hands part of the session including:
- A variety of soldering devices and related tools
- Metcal, Hakko, Weller, etc.
- Various solder types and sizes, fluxes
- Solder paste and hot air re-flow
- A variety of desoldering devices
- Wick, solder sucker
- A variety of surface mount components of various sizes and boards to play with
- Stereo microscope
- USB camera microscope
- Board holders
Don’t miss the chance to learn about Surface Mount Soldering – this will be a fun session!
