      Hi Everybody:

I currently have a seven element 2-meter yagi up about 25 feet.

I want to add a two-element 6-meter yagi to the same mast.

The normal convention is, I believe, to have the shorter wavelength antennas above the longer. However, the 6-meter antenna only has a boom of about 2.5 feet, while the 2-meter’s boom is about 8 feet.

Any technical reason I can’t leave the 2-meter antenna on the bottom? I don’t want to go to all the work of setting up the stack and then have to take it down and reverse ’em.

      Thanks in advance,

      Frank Smith, WS1MH

There is no technical reason not to have the 2m antenna on the bottom.

        Thanks, Spencer!

I thought that was the case, but it’s always good to have confirmation.
