Friends:

I am doing a very special Ham Nation this Wednesday and ALL hams should watch it.  I was friends with Cliff Kayhart W4KKP, the oldest living ham at 106.  Cliff just passed away at 109 from Covid… I am so sad about this…

I did a 40 minute interview with Cliff couple of years ago when he was 106.  He is an American hero.  Because was a ham, he was chosen to go to Iwo Jima and build a communications radio system  on Iwo Jima while the Japanese were shooting bullets over their heads.  He got interested in radio at the age of 9 and was active on the air until two weeks before his passing.
