Stay hydrated!
- Water and other drinks will be available in the food area
Have sun protection (clothing or sun-block) and insect repellent
- be careful if using repellent with DEET – clean your hands before using ANY radio gear as DEET can damage surfaces/screens
If you’re working tower setup/breakdown
- gloves, closed-toed shoes (work boots preferable) are required. hard hats too…
- AND, please pay attention to the work going on at all times
- lots of time for socializing after setup is done!
Observe/Obey taped-off areas!
- Stay out of the tower fall-zones and out of antenna fields…
To borrow a line from Homeland (paraphrasing):
- If you see something that doesn’t look right, say something to one of safety folks or station leads
Please keep the site clean during the event
- That will make it easier to finish up on Sunday!
