I just ran into a group named Remote Ham Radio which sells time on large stations that you can operate remotely. (There’s an article from QST here: http://www.remotehamradio.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/RHR-ARRL-REVIEW.pdf .) An interesting thing about it is that they have a sponsorship program to give young operators some free time on their stations: http://www.remotehamradio.com/youth/ .
