Reminder and Time Change – DXCC in a Day – January 10th

Reminder that our first operating event for Winter Field Day preparation is tomorrow, Saturday, January 10th.  We will start at 10:00 AM EST.  Note that this is a change from our originally announced start time of 9 AM.

If you will be here to operate, please bring a headset with a dynamic mic.

This will be held at AB1OC’s and AB1QB’s QTH.  You can find our address on QRZ.

 Saturday, January 10 – DXCC in a Day Attempt

We’ll kick things off with an ambitious and fun operating challenge:
Attempting to work a DXCC in a single day as N1FD.

This is a great opportunity to:

• Get hands-on time operating the station
• Practice HF operating techniques and logging
• Learn from experienced operators
• Enjoy relaxed, goal-oriented operating

Whether you operate for 10 minutes or several hours, you’ll gain valuable experience that carries right into Winter Field Day.
