Are you participating in Field Day this year? If so, you’ll want to purchase meals at the NARS Field Day Cafe. As we’ve done before, we’re offering a $30 meal pass that includes unlimited food and drinks for Friday though Sunday. Single day meal plans are $15 and individual meals are $10. We are accepting donations for between meal drinks and snacks. The planned menu is:
- Friday Lunch: Build your own deli sandwiches and chips
- Friday Supper: Hamburgers/cheeseburgers, hotdogs, and chips
- Saturday Breakfast: Eggs, bacon/sausage, home fries, toasted muffins, and pancakes
- Saturday Lunch: Hamburger/cheeseburgers, hot dogs/sausages, and home fried potatoes
- Saturday Dinner: BBQ ribs, chicken cutlets, grilled veggies, summer corn, baked beans, coleslaw, and toasted bread
- Sunday Breakfast: Eggs, bacon/sausage, home fries, toasted muffins, and pancakes
- Sunday Lunch: Build your own deli sandwiches and chips
For the diet conscious, we’re offering light options including: fresh fruit, a vegetable platter, veggie-burgers, and side-salads. Deli choices include lean turkey and ham for sandwiches. Dessert and snacks are: cookies, cupcakes, and other goodies donated by a local restaurant — include pizzas for the graveyard shift. Beverages options include bottled water, coffee, tea, milk/creamer, soft drinks, fruit juice, and Gatorade.
For calculating costs, serving amounts, and purchasing supplies in advance, it is paramount that we get an accurate count of how many people we will be participating. Planning is well under way so please send your payment as soon as possible. Your options are:

When making payment, please induce your call sign and contact information. Indicate if you are purchasing a weekend pass, a single day, or individual meals. Please be specific.
Finally, if you (or your XYL) could offer a hand at meal times to help out, it would be greatly appreciated. If you are so included, home cooked sweets and side dishes are always welcome. We are also are in need of coolers, large trash barrels, and other sundry supplies. If you could lend an item for the weekend, it would help keep the cost down.
