Hi All,
The 2023 Field Day preliminary satellite pass schedule is available! There are 24 overall satellites that we will be tracking, but many of the passes are late at night or very early in the morning; and we may, as a Field Day committee, decide to slim it down a little due to the sheer number of passes (over 230 of them between Friday afternoon [for station performance testing] and Sunday afternoon). So check back on Friday for the final schedule, but this should help with planning if you can only spend a little time with us at Field Day for a possible Satellite QSO.
The schedule is focused on passes that will be greater than 20 degrees above the horizon, and 4 minutes or longer in duration; giving us the highest chance to work them. The Tevel satellites (Tevel 1-8) are brand new and partially operational… but I have included them as many North American Hams have reported hearing them.
Also attached to this post is a chart containing important information about the satellites that we will be tracking. This information should not change.
We hope to see you this weekend!

The Field Day committee met last night and agreed that more is better! So… the “Preliminary” schedule is now the final one. If you are interested in joining us for a Satellite QSO, there are lots of opportunities for that.
We hope to see you at Field Day!
