Our HAB's Flight…

      Hello Everyone,

      We have our HAB back in NH and we have successfully extracted the video and data from the platform. Our HAB flew to 91,650 ft in about 3 hours and 10 minutes. The descent took about 50 minutes. The total flight time was just about 4 hours – quite a bit longer than we had planned. The GoPro cameras on board captured the first 2 hours and 40 minutes of the flight – their recording ended around 80,000 ft. Here’s what our HAB saw at that altitude –

      The balloon was about 6 ft in diameter at launch –

      Note that the balloon was found partially intact at the recovery site – an interesting outcome for us to analyze.
