Hi all
A quick note and reminder for this weekends POTA activation. Rain is in the forecast for Saturday so we will be going on SUNDAY instead. Sunday is forecast to be mid 70’s and Mostly sunny much better for setting up radio stations. Here is a link to the original story for more detail.
Don’t forget to get your parking pass and we are on the Winslow State park side this time around.

I’m glad you had a good time! The weather was great! and no bugs this time!
At the moment I’m not sure when October’s POTA activation will be. I mistakenly scheduled it on Nearfest’s weekend and in addition I have it being held at Pack Monadnock and it happens to coincide with the raptor migration season so it needs to moved to a different venue as well probable Kearsarge as it’s just a great place to operate portable. Watch the articles and forums sections. When I talk to Matt and Joe again and we hash it out and I will write up an article and put reminders in the forums too.
