INFO: Lookup Acronyms and Abbreviations

We tend to use quite a few acronyms and abbreviations during our Amateur Radio discussions. Many of us know what these terms mean but sometimes we come across one that is not obvious or maybe has a different meaning than we think.

To help with this, n1fd.org now has a quick lookup feature for acronyms. When you see text that has a dotted underline on our website (see example above), just hover over the term with your mouse for a few seconds and you’ll see a tooltip which shows what the acronym stands for.

These acronym tooltip feature works on pages and articles. It is not currently supported for posts in our Forums.
