The NARS fox will be out this Saturday (New Year’s Eve) for the last Fox Hunt of the year and Sunday (New Year’s Day) for the first Fox Hunt of 2023!
The fox will be hidden in Mine Falls Park and will be transmitting on 146.595 MHz. I will tie some pink surveyor’s tape around a tree near the fox. Once you find the tree with the pink tape you will be within 3 steps of the fox – again it will be very well hidden as this area is used heavily and we don’t want our fox walking off.
The weather is calling for some rain, but it looks like it won’t be a total washout, and what better way to end the year and bring in the New Year?
The fox will be out by 9:00 am on Saturday. I will be changing the batteries on Sunday by 9:00 am – they should last until then from Saturday, but I’ll put in a fresh one on Sunday morning.
