Join us for a Holiday Fox Hunt on Saturday, December 14th at Mine Falls Park in Nashua, NH.  We will have 4 Foxes and they will be out by 8:30 am.

Don’t worry if you have never done a Fox Hunt before.  We’ll be there between 8:30 am and 10:00 am to help you learn how to hunt the fox.  Just bring your favorite HT.  If you don’t have an HT or antenna for fox hunting, we’ll have some that you can use.  We’ll also have coffee and donuts for breakfast.

Here are the details on the foxes:

      • Fox 0 – 146.595 – 500 mW
      • Fox 1 – 146.565 – 500 mW
      • Fox 2 – 146.535 – 50 mW
      • Fox 3 – 146.505 – 15 mW

When you find the fox, you can sign the notebook and help yourself to a holiday treat!

You should be able to hear the 500 mW foxes from well outside the park.

You can park at the end of Whipple St. – see the Red Arrow on the map below.  Just cross the bridge and we will be on the other side of the river between 8:30 am and 10 am.  (The foxes will be out all day).

Hope to see you on Saturday!

Looks like it will be bright and sunny tomorrow for our Holiday Fox Hunt! However, due to the cold temperatures overnight,  the foxes will not be out until 10:00 am.  We’ll plan to be around for Fox Hunt training and donuts/coffee between 10 am and 11:30 am tomorrow.

Hope to see you tomorrow at the Fox Hunt!

          73,

          Anita, AB1QB

I will be there to hunt the Fox. It will be my first time. Looking forward to it. Bringing my HT and antennas.
