Many of you are probably already making plans to attend the Northeast HamXposition (formerly Boxboro) event on September 6th through the 8th. NARS will have a major presence again this year, supporting an Exposition displaying posters and props on all of our activities, a GOTA station, New Ham Boot Camp, and Kit Building. We’re hoping that you can lend a hand by helping to support our club.
Since there are plenty of logistics involved, we’ve split this activity up amongst 3 team leaders. Scott Andersen will be leading the kit building activities, Jerry Doty will be leading the Boot Camp, and Dave Merchant will be responsible for transportation. setting up the display at the exposition and the GOTA stations.
Scott sent out an email earlier this morning under separate cover requesting help with supporting the kit build.
I could really use help from 10-12 people as well. Please contact me (Dave Merchant, [email protected]) for activities related to Transportation, manning the booth or helping with the GOTA station:
- Have a truck? We need help with Transporation and setup on Friday, September 6th, and teardown and transportation on Sunday, September 8th.
- Interested in manning the booth at the Expo Hall to answer questions about our Club and associated activities?
- Want to help new hams get on the air with a GOTA station?
