The start of Field Day is only 48 hours away.  Here are a few items you should be doing now to prepare:

      • The Zoom meeting invites have gone out for the Virtual Site Visit with an Elected Official and Served Agency Reps.  If you would like to attend and you didn’t receive it, contact Anita, AB1QB at [email protected]
      • Print out many copies of the Radiogram Form and Instructions.  Fill out at least 5 copies with messages that you want to pass during the messaging net.  Leave the “To” field empty – you can fill that in during the net.  The messaging net will be held on Sunday, June 28th at noon EDT on the N1IMO/N1IMN Repeater System.
      • Fill out a Radiogram form with your message to the NH Section Manager.  See the filled-in radiogram below for how you should fill it in.Section Manager Message
      • Make sure your logger (N1MM is recommended) is at the latest version.
      • If you will be operating FT8 or FT4, make sure you have the latest version of WSJT-X.  Earlier versions do not support the Canadian Province PE.
      • Review the latest schedule for the ARRL Bulletin and plan when you will receive it.  Note that the California station, K6KPH will not be sending the message this year as the place they operate from is not accessible due to COVID-19.
      • Start preparing the artifacts for submitting your score.  Below is the request that I sent to the Nashua Telegraph for publicity for Field Day.  The online article can be found on the Nashua Telegraph Website (Note that if you are not a subscriber, you will need to enter your zip code to be able to access the full article.  Only the request is required to get the Bonus Points).

Have fun operating during Field Day!  Hope to work you on the bands!

      73,
