The dish antenna belongs to Bob, W1FDR. It is a relatively insensitive, highly directional setup that he uses for close-in fox hunting. He has his HTs mounted on the dish and can listen to the fundamental and 3rd harmonic of a fox.
It worked out to be a great compliment to the Elk Yagi that I had once we got within 50 ft or so of one of the fox “dens”.
