It looks like our Public Information tent will be well staffed to greet visitors, share information about our club, and help folks who are trying to locate our site via a “talk-in” station.
Our public information tent will feature a “score board” display which will show our logs and our total score in real-time. There will also be a number of videos from our club playing continuously on the public info. tent display.
We are also planning to have our High Altitude Balloon flight platform on display and there will be flyers and QSL cards available with information about our club.
Finally, we will have a VHF/UHF radio in our public information tent so that we can monitor the N1IMO/N1IMN repeater system to provide “talk-in” help for HAMs who are trying to locate our Field Day site.
We have invited many friends, students, and organizations to visit us during Field Day this year. Thanks to everyone who has signed up to staff our public information tent at Field Day this year.
