      This year Field Day 2024 is on June 22 & 23.  Our setup will be on June 21st.  That’s just 12 weeks away.

      If you’re interested in learning almost anything related to ham radio, please consider coming to the Field Day Preparation meeting starting Thursday, April 4th at 7 PM, and every Thursday until Field Day

      Ever wanted to know how to:

      ·         Set up a tower? 

      ·         Build an antenna? 

      ·         Set up a generator?  

      ·         Do a power analysis?

      ·         Set up an HF radio?

      ·         Do a Power Cable Loss Analysis?

      ·         Connect up the HF radio to a computer and other peripherals?

      ·         Program multiple computers to be the same configuration?

      ·         Configure N1MM+ software? 

      ·         Set up a tent? 

      ·         Operate on field day?  

      ·         Communicate with a satellite? 

      ·         Do a Propagation analysis?

      ·         Use WINLINK to send a message?

      ·         Use PSK, RTTY, FT8, FT4 Digital Modes?

      ·         Do a Radiation exposure analysis?

      ·         Participate in a Fox Hunt?

      ·         Work with the media?

      ·         Arrange for Government Representatives to visit?

      ·         Arrange for food and ice?

      ·         Calculate the final Field Day Score and submit it to the ARRL.

      ·         And a lot more.

      We will be covering all of the above subjects throughout the next 12 weeks.  If you’re interested in learning more about your hobby, then consider coming to the meetings.
