Sunday, April 14th is the ARRL Rookie Round SSB (voice). Anita, AB1QB and Fred, AB1OC will be hosting an N1FD team of rookies!
If you are newly licensed (less than 3 years) this is the contest for you! The contest runs from 2:00-8:00 pm and is a great introduction to contesting aimed at newly licensed amateurs.
Anita will hold a training session starting at 11:00 am for those that have not operated on HF before or want to get more familiar with the station. We will be using the club call sign, so Technicians are welcome as well!
Interested members should contact Anita, AB1QB no later than Thursday, April 11th at [email protected]. If you are not available for the training or for only a portion of the contest let Anita know the times you are available.
