      It’s important to properly coil antenna wire and coax cables so that they do not become tangled when stored or unwrapped. Peter, KC1FNF found this excellent video the explains how to properly coil cables and wire. The demo uses a microphone cable but this is the correct technique for coax and antenna wire. This will come in handy at Field Day and its easy to practice ad your QTH.

      Just be sure, when you go to use this cable, that you take the ends off from the same side they were put on.  If you do, it will uncoil neatly with no extra twists.  But watch out if you accidentally pass an end through the middle of the coil (try it!)
