Had “issues” with my HT’s programming…. could hear but folks could not hear me when I checked in. By the time I figured things out (was using a channel on the radio that had same freq but not the right programming for repeater…) the net was winding down…
What are the rules for checkin in at the end when everyone has answered “the question”? I thought in the past there was “one more chance” for people with “issues” 🙂
Also, is there a “checkins” for the 10m net? Was able to make that one (barely, thanks Mike 🙂 )
Hi Miguel,
Sorry that you had problems checking into our repeater net last evening. There are no hard and fast “rules” for check-ins – it’s up to each Net operator as to how to do it. All of us almost always ask for check-ins at least twice.
Give it a try again next Sunday and we’ll hope to see you on our Net. Glad you made the 10M net this week!
