Boxboro, now the Northeast Ham Xposition, is Saturday and Sunday, September 7th and 8th, hosted by the Boxboro Regency and Convention Center (formerly the Holiday Inn). The Nashua Area Radio Society will be a big part of the show.

I’m organizing the KIT BUILDING activities at the show, and I could use a few volunteers to help me help others. If you enjoy kit building, and if you could spare some time during the convention, I could use a hand. Specifically, I’m looking for 6-8 people to watch over new kit builders to (a) make sure they build safely, and (b) answer any questions that might come up.

Just being there, letting builders know that somebody is there to help should the need arise, is a big deal. Can you help?

I’m looking for volunteers to be present for any two-hour shift Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, or Sunday morning. This isn’t a big commitment, and a way to do some good for the club and the community.

Please send mail to [email protected], or just respond to this post, if you’d like to help make Boxboro fun for us, and for new kit builders. THANK YOU and 73!

Scott – I think you already have me on your list for Kit Building support.  I plan to help with the setup on Friday and Sunday teardown efforts.

I will be available for some time slots on Saturday and Sunday.

    Hi Scott,

I will be available and glad to help on Friday and Saturday, maybe Sunday. I will be wanting time off to attend some of the forums though.

      Hi Greg,

It’s great to hear that you’ll be able to help with Boxboro. Dave K1DLM is doing the schedule and I’ve forwarded your note to him. You should hear from him sometime during the next few days.

Looking forward to seeing you at HamXposition!

      Fred
