For those looking to work DX, you might check out some of the available DX nets. I occasionally join the 7.163 DX Net before daylight in the mornings to work VK/ZL and other south pacific DX stations on 40m. The folks which run this net are very welcoming of newcomers and there is often some good DX in 40m which join this group. You can learn more about the 7.163 net here. Been working VK/ZL and other DX using a 40m delta loop, the IC-7300 and 100W here over the last few days. Having a lot of fun!
