****Note – Please Read!!: There is prework required for our classes, which is to purchase and read the Gordon West License Book for your class.  If you would like to take the Technician Class and you do not yet have the Gordon West Technician Class book, we do not recommend registering for the class, as the book is back ordered by nearly all vendors and you will not receive the book in time to read it before the class.  Please contact Anita at [email protected] if you have any questions about this.

About Online License Exams

We are offering each eligible student who participates in one of our Amateur Radio License Classes the opportunity to take their FCC License Exam online immediately after they complete their class.

To be eligible to take an online exam, you must meet the following criteria:

• You have taken and completed an online License Class where your online exam is being held.
• You must have a Windows 7 or higher PC or recent Mac computer with a web browser and a reliable high-speed internet connection capable of supporting real-time, 2-way video.
• Your computer must have a working video camera, microphone, and speaker.
• Your computer must be in a non-cluttered, private work area away from any bulletin boards or pinned up papers or notes. We suggest you move your computer away from your office or similar location to a clutter-free, quiet environment for your test. A laptop computer is a good choice for this purpose if you have one available.
• You must have an internet-connected smartphone with a camera.

If you meet these criteria and would like to take your License Exam at the end of the class that you are registering for, you can sign up to do so when you register via the form that follows.
